A 160-page hardcover book by Belgian design critic Chris Meplon about Dirk Wynants, the founder and head designer of Extremis. It tells how Extremis grew from a Belgian start-up in 1994 into an international trendsetter in outdoor furniture, built on Dirk's idea of "Tools for Togetherness."
For Dirk, design is more than a trendy object. It's a way to find new solutions that make the world a little better. The book also covers his many international awards, including the Henry van de Velde Award, iF, Red Dot and Good Design.
