Thinking about a Product Design intership?
Whether it’s an internship or a master’s thesis, we want your time with us to be a real learning experience. That’s why we use a few guidelines for product design.
Time to really dive in
We ask for at least 36 days, for example 3 days a week for 12 weeks, or 1.5 days a week for 6 months. That gives you time to settle in, get your hands on a real project and see it grow.
The right season
Product design internships run from early February to the end of September. That’s when our new products take shape, so there’s the most to discover and contribute to. From October to January we’re busy launching and delivering, which leaves less room to learn.
Topics you can explore
- Product development: circularity, product passports and life cycle assessment (LCA)
- Product development: improving products in cost, assembly, transport and quality
- Design: concept and idea generation (also with AI), user interface and user experience
- Operations within product development & design: improving processes for data integrity and quality, Lean and Kaizen
Master’s level
These topics go quite deep, so we’re looking for students at master’s level.
Not quite a match?
No worries. These guidelines say nothing about your talent. They’re simply there so we can give you a meaningful experience. Not ticking every box, but still feel you’d be a great fit in another way? We’d love to hear from you. Tell us what you’d bring to the table, and we’ll see together if the pieces fit.
